In Szeged, the Archenerg International Renewable Energy and Construction Innovation Cluster and the Ferghana branch of the Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi met at the Csongrád Hall of the Csongrád-Csanád County Government Office, where the members of the delegation were welcomed by Dr. László Péter Salgó, Chief Executive of the Csongrád-Csanád County Government Office.
In his welcoming speech, the Chief Executive emphasized the good relationship with Uzbek partners, referring to a joint declaration of intent with the Surkhandarya region. In this declaration, the parties emphasized the importance of exchanging experiences related to the digitalization of public administration and sharing knowledge gained during administrative procedures, especially in the areas of agricultural administration and food safety.
The main objectives of the current visit include scientific research in the field of alternative energy, commercialization of innovations, organization of international scholarship projects, and mapping of alternative energy research and development cooperation.
Following the welcome, Dr. Gyula Nagy, Deputy Chairman of the Archenerg Cluster, gave a presentation on the operation and history of the Archenerg International Renewable Energy and Construction Innovation Cluster.
The aim of the delegation is to explore opportunities for joint cooperation with Hungarian universities and companies. The Archenerg Cluster places particular emphasis on expanding the business opportunities of Hungarian companies in Uzbekistan, as well as nurturing and strengthening relations with our Uzbek partners.

At the end of the presentations, the participants had the opportunity to get to know each other better and exchange ideas in informal discussions. These consultations provided an excellent opportunity to find new, innovative solutions to common challenges.
To conclude the program, the delegation engaged in a stimulating discussion with Uzbek students enrolled in Hungarian higher education institutions. The students provided insights into their academic pursuits, life in Hungary, and shared their personal experiences with the delegation members.
