Organized jointly by the Archenerg International Cluster for Renewable Energy, Machinery and Construction Innovation and the Építésügyi Minőségellenőrző Innovációs Nonprofit Kft, the event successfully brought together various stakeholders and participants in the innovation process. In addition to the professional presentations, the program also offered opportunities for building international relationships.

The event was realized as a joint event of the Metabuilding Labs and Nebula projects. The reason for this is that ÉMI Nonprofit Kft. participated in both projects. Within the framework of the Nebula project, ÉMI was entrusted with supporting the development of the Built4People Innovation Community (B4PIC) in Hungary, as well as with tasks related to the implementation of the provisions of the B4PIC charter signed by Archenerg and the involvement of domestic innovation actors.

The B4PIC initiative was thus closely linked to the Nebula project and also connected to the Archenerg network.

The conference offered valuable opportunities for participants for several reasons. On the one hand, thanks to the expert presentations, we could learn about the latest research results, gain a deeper understanding of the challenges associated with sustainable construction, and assess the importance of innovation in the construction industry. On the other hand, the event provided an excellent opportunity for networking. We could get to know the most important players in the sector more closely and build valuable professional relationships. Finally, but not least, we could discover the innovative technologies and solutions that are revolutionizing the operation of the construction industry.

The topics of the conference included:

  • The topic of construction defects, risks, and opportunities.

  • The Metabuilding Labs OITB platform and the issue of supporting innovation.

  • Presentation of the Irish National Construction Technology and Innovation Research Center.

  • Innovation clusters and networks in the built environment.

Based on the above, it can be said that the conference provided a comprehensive picture of the present and future of the construction industry and provided participants with a wealth of valuable information and experiences.
