The purpose of the visit was to establish a cooperation. The planned Hungarian-Georgian cooperation included the Edutus University Institute of Technology, which will develop a joint training programme on energy auditing, and the training could start from the academic year 2022/2023. We have thus received an invitation to the University of Tatabánya from the Head of the Institute of Technology, Dr Zoltan Peredy.

During the visit, we visited the Institute's Passive House, its laboratories and laser lab, followed by a technical meeting.

Following the meeting, the university indicated its openness to both project-based collaborations involving various direct EU and EU co-funded grants, as well as curriculum development and educational collaborations. The areas of cooperation include:

  • Implementation of complex energy efficiency systems,

  • Developing integrated integrated energy systems for cities,

  • Intelligent energy systems for urban energy systems,

  • Energy efficient building materials,

  • Integrated biomass systems,

  • Renewable Energy Incubator Centre,

  • Rationalisation and development of energy conversion solutions,

  • Renewable energy based power plants.

This is how the overall strategic framework agreement between Edutus University and Archenerg Cluster was created, of which we are proud.
